Carry on Suitcases

Yesterday I went to the Corte Ingles (our Macy´s of Spain) to pick up a few things, and since I had time to spare (husband was picking me up in 20 minutes) I thought I would check out the carry on suitcases. My green Samsonite has served me well, but frankly, I am not very impressed with the hard shell. I can´t stuff lots of goodies in it when I have overbought on my adventures. So, I thought a softsided suitcase was a definate need in the future.

As I was looking at the suitcases, I was approched by the salesman and I was shown two very nice suitcases. I went home, happy with what I had learned and was actually thinking about returning next week to purchase one of the suitcases. I thought I would do some extra research on the suitcases to clinch my decision.

WRONG. After about an hour of surfing the internet at hundreds of different webpages, I am now more confused and now leery of any sales assistant at the Corte Ingles.

I have also learned that all these airlines are so silly (my subsitute work for stupid around the children) with their requirements for their carryons. Not one company has the same requirements. They all fly around the same planes. WHAT THE F&%K?? I have learned that some are very giving with their dimensions while other are just downright stingy. UGg

I have given up. The quest for the perfect carry on suitcase continues. I know one thing for sure, I will NOT be going to the Corte Ingles anytime soon to buy my suitcase.
